Construction Materials Engineering and Testing
Construction Materials Engineering and Testing (CMET) is a valuable
method of testing, evaluating, and measuring the quality of materials and structural components used in construction.
CMET is applied to improve the longevity and performance of your paved surface or structure. Typical materials
include concrete, asphalt, structural and reinforcing steel, soils, masonry, wood, plastics, aggregates, roofing,
paints and coatings, and other specified materials. QC Laboratories works with you to develop a testing program
that responds quickly to minimize potential failures and properly investigate and evaluate materials related
problems. Our responsive project management, comprehensive field and laboratory testing, and educated
professionals contribute to the long term success of your facility or roadway.

Our materials testing laboratory is A2LA accredited in construction
materials testing. All field and laboratory testing is performed by qualified technicians who meet local and
national standards such as TxDOT, NICET and ACI. Project Managers supervise each project and provide feedback
during construction and summary documentation after your construction is complete. Licensed Professional
Engineers are also available for materials consulting and recommendations.
